This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) explains the circumstances under which refunds, cancellations, reversals, or adjustments may be considered in connection with services provided by FinOrbit Finance Private Limited (“FinOrbit”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By using our website, digital platform, loan enquiry/application services, or channel-partner services, you acknowledge and agree to this Policy.
FinOrbit Finance Private Limited may facilitate loan enquiries, customer onboarding, lead generation, financial-product discovery, and related services.
Depending on the particular arrangement, FinOrbit may connect customers with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, lenders, or other authorised service providers.
Submission of a loan enquiry or application does not guarantee loan approval, sanction, or disbursement.
Loan approval, loan amount, interest rate, tenure, processing charges, documentation requirements, and disbursement are determined by the relevant lender or financial institution in accordance with its applicable policies, eligibility criteria, credit assessment, and regulatory requirements.
FinOrbit is not responsible for refunding fees or charges that are independently imposed and collected by a third-party lender or service provider, unless such amount was collected by FinOrbit and the applicable refund is legally or contractually due from FinOrbit.
Any refund or cancellation request will therefore be evaluated based on:
FinOrbit generally does not charge borrowers merely for submitting a loan enquiry or application unless a specific service, fee, or charge has been clearly disclosed to the customer before payment.
Where any fee is payable directly to FinOrbit, the applicable amount, purpose, and payment terms will be communicated to the customer before payment, where required.
A refund may be considered where:
A payment was made due to a technical or processing error and FinOrbit confirms that the amount was incorrectly collected; or
A refund is otherwise required under applicable law or the specific terms communicated at the time of payment.
Loan rejection, non-approval, reduced loan amount, change in interest rate, or failure to obtain a loan does not by itself create a right to a refund of a fee that was validly disclosed and charged for a separate service.
Any amount paid directly to a lender, bank, NBFC, financial institution, or third-party service provider will be subject to that entity's own refund and cancellation terms.
For Channel Partners, including DSAs, LSPs, referral partners, or other business partners, refunds, reversals, cancellations, clawbacks, adjustments, or commission-related deductions will be governed by the applicable partner agreement, commercial terms, payout structure, and applicable policies.
A channel-partner payout may be reversed, adjusted, withheld, or recovered where applicable, including in circumstances such as:
Where a separate DSA/LSP agreement contains specific provisions regarding payouts, clawbacks, cancellations, or refunds, that agreement will prevail to the extent of any inconsistency.
A customer may request cancellation of a loan enquiry or application by contacting the relevant channel through which the application was initiated.
However, cancellation may not be possible after the application has been processed, submitted to a lender, sanctioned, disbursed, or otherwise progressed to a stage where the relevant lender's terms apply.
Any cancellation request will be subject to the applicable lender's policies and the stage of the application.
If a lender rejects a loan application, such rejection does not automatically create a refund obligation for FinOrbit.
If a separately chargeable service fee was collected by FinOrbit, refund eligibility will be determined according to the terms disclosed for that particular service.
If a customer or partner accidentally makes the same payment more than once for the same service, the duplicate amount may be reviewed for refund after verification.
The refund will generally be processed to the original payment method, subject to payment-provider procedures.
Where an amount is debited from a customer's bank account or payment instrument but is not successfully received by FinOrbit, the transaction may be subject to automatic reversal by the relevant bank or payment service provider.
If the amount is received by FinOrbit despite the transaction being shown as failed to the customer, the customer may contact us with the relevant transaction details for verification.
If a technical error results in an incorrect charge or duplicate charge attributable to FinOrbit's systems, the transaction will be reviewed and, where appropriate, the eligible amount may be refunded.
Where fees, charges, insurance premiums, processing fees, documentation charges, credit-report charges, or other amounts are collected directly by a lender, bank, NBFC, financial institution, payment provider, or other third party, the refund or cancellation of such amount will generally be governed by that third party's applicable terms.
Customers should review the relevant lender or service provider's documentation before making payment.
If you believe that a payment or transaction has been made without your authorisation, you should notify us as soon as possible and also contact your bank or payment-service provider.
We may request supporting information to investigate the transaction.
Where appropriate, we may suspend or restrict the relevant account, transaction, or service while an investigation is conducted.
Subject to applicable law, refunds will generally not be available in the following circumstances:
A payment was made directly to a third-party lender or service provider and is governed by that party's refund policy; or
A refund request is made outside any applicable contractual or legally prescribed period.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory refund or consumer rights available under applicable law.
If you believe you have a legitimate reason for a refund as per this Policy, please contact us with the details below. We will review each case on its own merits.

Please include:
After reviewing the request, we will communicate the outcome and, where a refund is approved, provide information regarding the applicable refund process.
Where a refund is approved, the refund will generally be processed through the original payment method, wherever technically and operationally feasible.
The time taken for the amount to appear in the customer's account may depend on the bank, card issuer, payment gateway, UPI provider, or other payment service provider.
FinOrbit is not responsible for delays caused solely by banks, payment gateways, payment networks, or other third-party service providers.
Where the original payment method cannot be used, FinOrbit may request additional information required to process the refund through an appropriate method, subject to applicable verification and security requirements.
FinOrbit may modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, commercial arrangements, technology, payment processes, or applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
The updated Policy will be published on our website with the revised effective date.
Customers and channel partners are encouraged to review this Policy periodically.
